Captain's Meat Ingredients

Captain's Meat Cooking:
Step 1: prepare the meat.
We wash the pork under running water, dry it with paper kitchen towels, put it on a cutting board, cut off excess fat, film, veins, as well as small bones, if any, with a sharp knife. After that, we cut it across the fibers with layers of approximate thickness from 1 to 1.5 centimeters. Then, in turn, cover each piece with plastic wrap and lightly beat them off with a kitchen hammer. Strongly do not zeal, just a little kneading meat tissue. Then we transfer the pork into a small bowl, sprinkle to taste with salt, black pepper, mix and leave it in this form on 10-15 minutes or until use.
Step 2: prepare vegetables, cheese and prepare garlic mayonnaise.
Meanwhile, with a clean knife, peel the onions, garlic, and each mushroom cut the roots. Then we wash the vegetables, dry them, put them on a chopping board one by one and continue the preparation. Cut the onion into strips, quarters, rings or half rings 1 cm thick. Champignons shred in layers or cubes ranging in size from 6 to 8 millimeters.
Squeeze the garlic cloves through a press into a bowl. Pour the right amount of mayonnaise there and mix everything with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency.
We cut off the paraffin crust from the hard cheese and grind it into clean dishes on a large, medium or small grater. After that, put on the kitchen table the remaining products that will be needed to prepare the dish, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, grease the non-stick pan with a tablespoon of vegetable oil and proceed to the next step.
Step 3: fry the mushrooms.
We put the pan on medium heat and pour a couple tablespoons of vegetable oil into it. After a few minutes, we send the chopped mushrooms there. Fry them until golden brown for 5-7 minutesstirring constantly with a kitchen spatula. As soon as the mushrooms are browned, transfer them back to the bowl.
Step 4: bring the dish to full readiness.
Now put half the onion on the prepared baking sheet. On top of it is meat, which we grease with garlic mayonnaise and sprinkle with the remaining onions.
Then comes a layer of mushrooms and the last of the cheese. We send the raw dish into the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
During this time, all products will reach full readiness, we put on kitchen gloves and put the baking tray on the cutting board, previously laid on the countertop. Let the aromatic dish cool slightly, then use a kitchen spatula to divide it into portions, arrange them in plates and serve to the table with your favorite side dish.
Step 5: serve the meat in a captain’s way.
Captain's meat is served hot or cold, in any of these options it is very tasty. Basically this dish is served as the main one, supplementing each portion with salad, stewed vegetables, mashed potatoes, cereals from different cereals, pasta or boiled or steamed rice. Enjoy it!

- A good alternative to vegetable oil is butter.
