Sausage Salad Ingredients

Making a salad with sausages:

Step 1: prepare and cook potatoes.


To get started, take the right amount of potatoes and thoroughly rinse it off the ground with a kitchen brush. We do not remove the peel, immediately put it in a deep saucepan, fill it with purified water above the level of tubers by 5-7 centimeters and put on medium heat.

After boiling, cook the jacket potatoes 20-25 minutes depending on the size of the vegetable. Readiness check table fork. If its teeth enter smoothly, without pressure, then using a tablespoon, transfer the potatoes to a plate and set to cool near the ajar window.

Step 2: prepare the sausages.


In the meantime, remove the food casing from the sausage, put it on a cutting board and use a kitchen knife to chop the rings 1 cm thick. Then put on a medium heat a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.

When it melts and warms up, we send the sausage there and fry it from all sides to a light golden crust, constantly stirring with a kitchen spatula. After that we transfer the browned ingredient to a clean dish and, like potatoes, cool in a well-ventilated place.

Step 3: prepare onions, tomatoes, parsley and boiled potatoes.


While the main products are cooling, peel the onions. We wash it with a tomato and parsley under a stream of cold running water. We dry them with paper kitchen towels, take turns putting them on a cutting board and continue preparation. At the tomato we remove the place on which the stalk was attached, and cut it into small cubes or slices up to 1.5 centimeters thick.
We chop the onion in small cubes 5-7 millimeters in size, and the greens are just finely chopped. Then we remove the skin from the cooled boiled potato, put the tubers on a clean board and chop it with large rings, half rings or quarters with a new knife.

Step 4: bring the salad to full readiness.


Now we put chopped potatoes, fried sausages, tomatoes and onions in a large bowl. Season them to taste with salt, black pepper and mayonnaise. Mix everything with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency. We shift into a salad bowl, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve to the table.

Step 5: serve a salad with sausages.


Salad with sausages is served immediately after cooking as a second main course for dinner or a hearty dinner or breakfast. This meal does not need any additions, unless a piece of fresh bread and a glass of your favorite drink will brighten up your meal. Enjoy a simple instant meal!

Recipe Tips:

- sausages can not be fried, but boiled whole and then cut into rings;

- an excellent substitute for mayonnaise - sour cream or homemade cream;

- very often, in addition to parsley, the finished salad is sprinkled with chopped dill, cilantro or green onions;

- sometimes a set of vegetables is supplemented with canned corn, peas, boiled egg or hard cheese;

- cutting the ingredients is not important, grind them as you like, for example, cubes or straws.
