Cooking potatoes in garlic oil:
Step 1: prepare the potatoes.
Using a kitchen brush, thoroughly rinse the potatoes under running water and put in a medium saucepan.
We fill the container with water so that it completely covers the component, and put on medium heat. To quickly boil the liquid, cover the pan with a lid. Immediately after that we detect 30-45 minutes and boil the potatoes until soft. Attention: after a while we check the tubers for readiness. To do this, gently pierce them with a knife. If the potatoes are soft, turn off the burner. If not, then extend the cooking time. The main thing is not to digest the component.
Now, with the help of a slotted spoon, transfer the potatoes to a cutting board and let cool to a warm state. With clean hands, remove the peel, and move the tubers into a small bowl. We leave the component for a while aside.
Step 2: prepare the butter.
We spread the butter on a cutting board and cut it into medium pieces with a knife. The crushed component is moved to a free saucer and set aside to reach room temperature. Attention: the oil must necessarily become soft, because otherwise we will not be able to prepare a garlic dressing for the dish.
Step 3: prepare the dill.
We wash the dill under running water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, finely chop the greens and pour into a free saucer.
Step 4: prepare the garlic.
We put the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the edge of the knife. Then remove the husk and rinse the cloves under running water.
Spread the component back onto the board and chop finely. Pour the chopped garlic in a clean saucer and leave it aside for a while.
Step 5: prepare hard cheese.
Using a coarse grater, grind hard cheese directly on a cutting board. Then pour the chips into a free saucer. Attention: for cooking, it is best to use salted cheese. Then the potatoes will turn out amazingly delicious.
Step 6: prepare the garlic dressing.
In a deep bowl we spread soft butter, chopped dill, garlic, cheese chips, as well as sour cream. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Step 7: prepare the potatoes in garlic oil.
We put peeled potatoes on a cutting board and use a knife to cut lengthwise into two parts.
Now we cover the baking sheet with baking paper and spread the halves of the main component on it. Using a tablespoon, grease each piece of potato with garlic dressing so that it completely covers it. Turn on the oven and heat it to temperature 170-180 ° C. Immediately after that, put the pan on a medium level and bake the dish for 15-20 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface. Then we turn off the oven, we take out the container with the help of kitchen oven gloves and set it aside. When the potatoes have cooled slightly, you can serve it in the dining table.
Step 8: serve the potatoes in garlic oil.
Using a wooden spatula, transfer the potatoes in garlic oil to a special flat plate and serve them with fried or baked meat, fresh vegetables or pickles at the dinner table.
- for the preparation of garlic dressing instead of dill, you can use parsley;
- before baking, potatoes can be seasoned with salt and pepper to taste;
- to make the dish tasty, try to choose hard potatoes that will keep their shape after cooking.
