Frize Salad


Ingredients for Making Frize Salad

Salad Products:

Making fries salad:

Step 1: prepare the greens and garlic.


First, we wash the leaves of a frize salad and arugula under a stream of cold running water. Then dip them with paper kitchen towels, put on a plate, mix and give you the opportunity to completely dryif this is not done, refilling with greens will drain. Then peel the garlic clove and set aside for a while, it will come in handy later.

Step 2: cook the chicken eggs.


Then we put raw chicken eggs in a stewpan or a small saucepan and fill it with ordinary running water so that it is higher than their level by 3-4 centimeters. There we add a spoonful of salt, table 9% vinegar and put everything on medium heat. After boiling, cook hard-boiled eggs 10-11 minutes depending on size. Then with the help of a slotted spoon we transfer them into a deep bowl with ice water and completely cool.

Step 3: prepare the bacon.


While the eggs are cooling, set the pan on medium heat and heat it. Meanwhile, wash and dry the strips of bacon. Then we send them to a cutting board, cut across into thin strips up to 1.5 centimeters thick and lay them on the bottom of a hot pan. Fry slices of fat until golden brown, periodically stirring with a wooden kitchen spatula. After that we transfer them to a paper towel, leave them on 2-3 minutesso that it absorbs excess fat, and immediately proceed to the next step.

Step 4: prepare the boiled chicken eggs.


We remove the shell from the cooled chicken eggs. We rinse them, dry them, put them in turn on a clean cutting board and cut them into thin strips, cubes, ringlets, quarters, or as you like with a new knife.

Step 5: prepare salad dressing.


Next, take a small bowl and squeeze a peeled garlic clove into it through a press. There we add Dijon mustard, olive oil, wine vinegar, sea salt, sugar, black pepper and mix everything thoroughly with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency - the dressing is ready.

Step 6: bring the salad to full readiness.


Now we send to the bottom of the deep dish 2/3 of the total mass of lettuce leaves and pour them with 2-3 tablespoons of dressing. On top of them we lay out chopped eggs, fried bacon in an artistic mess, cover them with the remaining sheets and season everything with spicy sauce.

Step 7: serve the Frieze salad.


Frieze salad is served immediately after preparation. It is served directly in the dish, from which everyone is applying a portion with the help of kitchen tongs. This dish can serve as a main and a side dish. Enjoy a wholesome and simple meal!

Recipe Tips:

- a set of products can be supplemented with goat cheese, Philadelphia, Mascarpone, Adygea, Feta or feta cheese;

- very often, dried herbs are put in the dressing: sage, sumac, fenugreek, dill, parsley and many others;
