Cooking fish cakes in the oven:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.
To save yourself the need to cut fish, we buy hake fillet without skin and bones. In stores, it is usually sold frozen, so it must be thawed. It is best to put it on the lower shelf in the refrigerator in advance so that it slowly thaws. If you wait so long there is no strength, you can defrost the fillet at room temperature. Then we wash it under running water, carefully dry it with paper towels and cut into small pieces of arbitrary shape.
Peel the onion and cut into cubes.
Remove the husk from the garlic and rub it on a fine grater.

Step 2: Cook the fish cakes in the oven.
The fastest way to cook minced meat for cutlets is to do it using a food processor. If not, then you need a meat grinder.
So, in the bowl, stir the chopped onion and chop it. Add breadcrumbs, one tablespoon of mayonnaise, eggs, spices and turn on the combine for 10-15 seconds.
We attach chopped hake fillet and salt to the chopped ingredients. We turn on the harvester for about 2-3 minutes, maybe a little more or less, it depends on the capacity of the harvester. The result should be a homogeneous minced fish.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment. To get a golden crust, grease it with olive oil. We form cutlets with our hands and spread them at a small distance from each other.
Turn on the oven and heat to 180 degrees. We send meatballs to the oven for 15-20 minutes. Then we take out a baking sheet and transfer the meatballs to a dinner plate.
Step 3: Prepare the sauce for fish patties in the oven.
Wash and dry the lemon with a paper towel. To get the zest, grate it on a fine grater.
Put mayonnaise in a small salad bowl, add a teaspoon of lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika, prepared zest. Mix everything and salt to taste.
Step 4: Serve the fish cakes in the oven.
We serve fish cakes immediately after cooking. Salads from fresh vegetables and greens are very suitable for them. Potatoes of any kind (fried, boiled or mashed) will be a good side dish.
