Salad with crab sticks and rice

Making a salad with crab sticks and rice:

Step 1: prepare the pic.


First of all, we spread rice on the kitchen table, sort it out, removing spoiled grains and any rubbish. After that, transfer it to a deep bowl, rinse thoroughly under cold running water, drop it into a sieve with a fine mesh and leave it on it 5 - 7 minutes, in order to drain excess fluid.

Step 2: cook rice.


Next, fill a small pan with the right amount of purified water and put it on medium heat. After boiling, add salt to taste to it, not forgetting that this ingredient will still be used during salad dressing.

Now put the dried rice in boiling water and let it boil for a couple of minutes. Then reduce the temperature of the plate to a level between small and medium. Thoroughly mix the grains with water to make sure that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan, and cook them 15 - 20 minutes.

Cooking time may vary depending on the variety and quality of rice, so it is better to check the readiness for taste - it is important for the salad that it does not become too soft! When the rice is almost ready, using a kitchen towel, rearrange the saucepan from the stove to the countertop, cover it with a lid and insist the grains for 10 - 15 minutes.

Step 3: cook the chicken eggs.


In the meantime, put the eggs in a clean pan, fill them with cold running water, add a couple of tablespoons of salt, 9% of table vinegar and put it on a medium heat.
After boiling, cook hard-boiled eggs 10 - 12 minutes. Then we shift them into a bowl of ice water and cool to room temperature.

Step 4: prepare boiled rice and chicken eggs.


While the eggs were boiling, the rice was slightly swollen, but it required additional preparation. We transfer the boiled grains into a sieve, carefully rinse them under a stream of cold water and leave it on it 10 - 12 minutes or until all liquid has drained. After that, put the rice in a salad bowl and completely cool.

Then we clear the eggshells, wash off the fragments from them, dry them with paper kitchen towels and put on a plate.

Step 5: prepare the rest of the products.


Now, using the canned key, open the jar of corn and pour the marinade from it. Then remove the packaging from the crab sticks. We wash green onions with dill and shake off excess water from them. We also put mayonnaise and salt on the kitchen table.

Step 6: bring the dish to full readiness.


All components of the salad are prepared, you can proceed to the final stage. In turn, put on the cutting board crab sticks, boiled eggs, green onions and dill.

We grind these products with medium cubes, and chop the greens finely and shift the slices into a salad bowl with boiled rice.

We put corn, mayonnaise and salt to taste there. We mix the ingredients with a tablespoon until a homogeneous consistency, if desired, cool the finished salad or serve it immediately.

Step 7: serve the salad with crab sticks and rice.


Salad with crab sticks and rice is served at room temperature or chilled. It is served in a salad bowl or immediately laid out in portions on plates and, if desired, each is decorated with sprigs of fresh herbs. Very often, such a salad is used as a filling for tartlets or sand baskets. Its taste is rich and very delicate, and in satiety it is not inferior to any meat dish. Enjoy it!
