Chocolate Watermelon Ingredients

Cooking watermelon in chocolate:
Step 1: prepare the chocolate.
On the birthday of my son, I wanted to create a wonderful tasty and healthy dessert, and I found one on the Internet. In the process of cooking, I made several adjustments to the original recipe, so to speak, improved the presentation and design.
To begin with, remove the packaging from 2 chocolate bars, break them into pieces, put in a deep heat-resistant bowl and put it in the microwave. Turn on 30 seconds and wait. After a while, the toggle switch of the microwave oven will click, indicating a shutdown. Open the door, mix the almost melted chocolate with a tablespoon and again send the container to the microwave on 30 seconds. After the kitchen appliance switches off again, use a kitchen towel to remove a bowl of melted chocolate from it and place it on the countertop. Cool the aromatic, brown mass to room temperature.
Step 2: prepare the watermelon.
While the chocolate cools, take 1 large, boneless watermelon of any kind, rinse it under cold running water from sand, dry it with paper kitchen towels to prevent excess moisture, put on a cutting board and cut into rings up to 2.5 centimeters thick.
Then we act as desired, in the original the watermelon ring is cut into 8 equal parts and a crust is cut from each. But since the dessert was prepared for the children, I just used a cookie cutter.
We take it and cut flowers or any other figures from watermelon pulp and lay them on a baking sheet.
Step 3: bring the dessert to full readiness.
Then string 1 watermelon flower on a kitchen double-toothed fork and dip it in chocolate.
Now we put the chocolate-watermelon flower on a clean baking sheet and decorate the remaining "flowers" in the same way. After, sprinkle them to taste with coconut or chopped nuts in a blender.
We put the baking sheet in the refrigerator and insist the dessert until the chocolate completely hardens, it will take about 8 - 10 minutes.
Step 4: serve the chocolate watermelon.
The watermelon in chocolate is served chilled or at room temperature, I took it out of the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving, so that the dessert warmed up a bit, the chocolate did not melt, it remained the same solid. If desired, chocolate watermelon can be served on a baking sheet or immediately spread it in portions on dessert plates. As a complement to this yummy, you can offer watermelon sorbet or ice cream balls. The unusual combination of dark chocolate and sweet watermelon in combination with nuts or coconut is very nice, especially if you like sweet new items! Enjoy it!
