Cooking pollock in the oven:

Step 1: prepare the fish.


Pollock is a very healthy and tasty fish. It has a lot of microelements and vitamins, in addition, it is low-calorie, so it can be eaten by everyone, without exception. So, we wash the fish well on all sides under running water and put it on a cutting board. Rub the pollock inside and out with salt and black pepper. After that we transfer the fish to a large bowl and sprinkle the juice with half the lemon. Cover the bowl with a lid from the pan and onto 1-2 hours set aside to pickle.

Step 2: prepare the onion.


Using a knife, peel the onion from the husks and rinse under running water. We lay out the component on a cutting board and finely chop into small squares. Shredded onions are transferred to a free small bowl.

Step 3: prepare the greens.


We rinse the parsley under running water, shake the excess liquid over the sink and transfer to a cutting board. Using a knife, chop the greens and then pour into a bowl with chopped onions.

Step 4: prepare the filling.


Squeeze the juice from the remaining half of the lemon into a bowl with crushed components, add salt to taste and mix everything well with a tablespoon.

Step 5: cook the pollock in the oven.


To begin with, cut pieces of food foil of this size into which you can wrap a separate carcass of fish. To prevent the dish from sticking to the foil during baking, use a pastry brush to lubricate it inside with a small amount of vegetable oil. Now fill the belly of the pickled fish with the filling and put it on the foil. Top pollock greased with sour cream or mayonnaise and tightly wrap. Important: the edges of the foil must be well bonded so that steam or juice from the fish does not escape through the seams.

When everything is ready, put the carcasses of pollock on a baking sheet and set to bake in a preheated oven to a temperature 200 ° -230 ° C. Cooking a dish within 30-40 minutes. In 10 minutes we take out baking sheets from the oven with the help of kitchen tack and cut the foil with scissors right in the middle so that the fish can brown. We put the pan back into the oven and wait for the end of the cooking time. At the end, turn off the oven and serve the dish to the dining table.

Step 6: serve pollock from the oven.


We shift the finished pollock in the oven with a wooden spatula to a special flat dish. Boiled potatoes, various cereals and a salad of fresh vegetables are perfect for such fish.

- You can also prepare a dish from frozen pollock. To do this, pre-take the fish from the freezer and set aside for a while. Attention: In no case should you defrost fish under running hot water or in the microwave.

- Pollock in the oven can be cooked without adding toppings. It's a matter of taste. I usually add this dressing, as it gives the fish an unforgettable aroma and taste.
