Squid pasta

Ingredients for Squid Pasta

  1. Squid (peeled, cut into rings) 1 kilogram
  2. Onions 1-2 pieces
  3. 5 cloves of garlic
  4. Cherry Tomatoes 700-800 grams
  5. Olive oil 3 tablespoons
  6. Pasta (here shells) 300 grams
  7. Parsley to taste
  8. Cayenne pepper flakes 1 pinch
  9. Dry white wine 100 grams
  10. Salt to taste

Saucepan, pan with thick walls, spatula, kitchen knife, cutting board, colander.

Cooking pasta with squid:

Step 1: fry the onion with garlic.

Heat the olive oil in a pan with a thick bottom and walls.
In the meantime, heat it up, peel the onions, garlic and chop them very finely, and then quit frying in hot oil.

Fry for several minutes, often stirring, to get a nice golden color.

Step 2: stew squids.

Add squid rings to the onion and garlic in a pan and fry everything in oil for another 2-3 minutes.
Now pour in the dry white wine.
All the same, often stirring, cook the squid for a few more minutes, so that they stew well in wine.

Step 3: add the tomatoes.

Add chopped into quarters or halves (depending on size) cherry tomatoes. And continue to simmer it all together for a few more minutes, until the squids become very soft and easily prick up the fork.

Step 4: add the pasta.

Cook the pasta separately according to the instructions on the label. Throw the pasta into a colander after cooking to drain excess water.
Add boiled pasta to the squid pan and warm it for a couple of minutes, stirring.
At the end of cooking, add salt, cayenne pepper and serve the prepared pasta with squid to the table, sprinkling it with fresh herbs.

Step 5: serve the squid paste.

Squid paste should be served immediately after cooking, as the main hot dish. It looks delicious on a plate and does not require any sauce. Suitable for a family dinner and for a light romantic dinner.
