Ingredients for making plum meat sauce for the winter

  1. Plums 500 grams
  2. Red pepper 200 grams
  3. Onion 50 grams
  4. Chili pepper 50 grams
  5. Ginger Root 20 grams
  6. 2 cloves of garlic
  7. 1/4 cup cane sugar
  8. Vinegar 10% 1/4 cup

Preparation of plum sauce for meat for the winter:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Rinse the plums properly and cut into small pieces.
Rinse and red chilli peppers and seeds and tails, and then cut into small pieces in the same way as plums.
Peel the onion and garlic, rinse with cold water and chop very finely.
Peel the ginger root and grate or chop finely.

Step 2: the first stage of cooking the sauce.


Combine all the ingredients prepared for the sauce in a saucepan and set them to simmer over low heat.

Cook everything for 60 minutes, often stirring so that nothing burns.

After an hour of cooking, remove your sauce from the heat and let it cool slightly before you move on to the next step.

Step 3: grind with a blender.


Dip the blender into the slightly cooled mass and grind everything very well, so that by consistency you get more like a sauce.

Step 4: add plum sauce to the meat.


Add cane sugar, vinegar and salt to the sauce, mix and put on the fire back. Cook more 5 minutes.

Add a few drops of soy sauce, a pinch of nutmeg and season with pepper to taste. Shuffle.

Remove the prepared plum sauce from the heat and proceed to its preparation.
