Fish skewers with mashed carrots


Ingredients for making fish skewers with mashed carrots

For barbecue

  4. Milk 2-3 tablespoons

Cooking fish skewers with mashed carrots:

Step 1: prepare the marinade.


Mix in a deep bowl lime juice and olive oil. Crush the cloves of garlic with the flat side of the knife, peel them and add to the marinade. Add salt and pepper as well. Shuffle.

Step 2: pickle the fish fillet.


Make sure your fish is boneless, peel it off the skin, rinse and cut into medium-sized cubes. Dip in the marinade, mix, and then put in the refrigerator, at least for 1 hour.

Step 3: prepare the vegetables.


While the fish is pickling, cook the carrot puree. First, peel all the vegetables and chop, the potatoes into cubes, the carrots into slices, and the onions into small pieces.

Step 4: stew the vegetables.


Heat a little oil in a pan, add onions to it and fry until golden, and then pour carrots and potatoes here.

Sauté the vegetables for several minutes, and then pour a little boiling water into the pan. Add salt, pepper and cook until carrots and potatoes are tender.

Step 5: chop the vegetables in mashed potatoes.


Grind the finished vegetables in a blender, adding butter and milk in mashed potatoes. And check if there is enough salt and pepper, maybe you need to add a little.

Step 6: string the fish fillet on the skewers.


Remove the fish from the marinade and put it on wooden skewers, alternating slices of fillet with lime slices. And do not forget that sticks - skewers must be soaked in advance in just cold water so that they do not burn during frying.

Step 7: fry fish skewers.


Cook the fish skewers in a grill pan 3 minutes from each side. Slices of fillets should be fried and covered with a delicious crust. The main thing is to warm the pan well, then everything will turn out in the best possible way.

Step 8: serve fish kebab with mashed carrots.


Prepare plates for serving, beautifully pour in the center of each carrot puree, and lay the fish kebab on top. Garnish your meal with lime wedges and fresh herbs. Now serve it and try your masterpiece.
