Pancake with meat and egg


Ingredients for making pancake pie with meat and egg.

Pancakes:

  1. 1.5 cup milk
  2. egg 1 pc
  3. water 0.5 cup
  4. salt pinch
  5. refined vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  6. flour 1 cup

Filling:

  1. chicken fillet 250 g
  2. ginger root (fresh) about 2 cm
  3. ground black pepper 1/2 tsp
  4. garlic powder 1/2 tsp
  5. onions (medium) 2 pcs
  6. jalapeno chili pepper 1 pc
  7. soy sauce 1 tbsp
  8. salt to taste
  9. spices to taste
  10. refined vegetable oil 2 tbsp

To bake a pie:

  1. butter (melted) 1 teaspoon
  2. egg 4 pcs
  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  4. ground black pepper 1/4 tsp
  5. cashew nuts (fried) 15-20 pcs

Cooking pancake pie with meat and egg:

Step 1: Cooking Pancakes.


The main enemy of milk pancakes is lumps. If you pour all the flour into milk at once, then you will catch and break lumps for a very long time. The easiest way to do this is to sift the flour, add salt, an egg and half the prescription amount of milk and knead a thick dough. No lumps are afraid of such a test.

Add the rest of the milk and water, mix the dough until smooth. To make pancakes easily removed from the pan, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the dough, mix.

Place the pan in a medium heat and warm it up well. Pancakes will not be removed from a poorly heated pan. Lubricate the pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil, this can be done using a cooking brush. We do not need excess oil.
If there are no brushes, one more “folk” method: cut the raw potato into halves, prick one of them on a fork and dip in vegetable oil, grease the pan. It is necessary that the pan be lubricated with a very thin layer, if the oil is simply poured onto it, then this will not work.
Does the pan heat up? Pour the dough with a ladle, about 2/3 of its volume. According to the first pancake, it will be clear whether enough / less is needed / more, depending on the diameter of the pan. Bake the pancake on one side until it remains on top of the raw dough. On the other hand, you can not bake a pancake. Stack ready-made pancakes on a dinner plate. About 10 pancakes will be obtained from the indicated amount of ingredients.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.


Peel ginger and grate, transfer to a plate.

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and transfer to a bowl. Add soy sauce and ginger. We leave the meat to marinate while we are going to do onion and pepper.

Peel the onion and cut into cubes.

Chop the jalapenos into small pieces. If you do not like the sharpness of the pepper, just remove the seeds and membranes.

We put the pan on the fire, pour the vegetable oil. We spread the chicken fillet in a pan, add a little salt and fry until tender. We transfer the finished meat from the pan to the plate. Leave it to cool. We do not remove the pan from the fire.

If necessary, add a little vegetable oil to the pan. Spread chopped onions and jalapenos. Fry over low heat for about 5 minutes, the onion will become soft and translucent.

While the onion is fried, chop the chicken fillet as small as possible. Send meat to onions and peppers. Add spices, salt to taste. Stir and fry for several minutes. Try on salt and spices. Transfer the prepared filling to a suitable dish.

Step 3: Cooking a pancake pie with meat and egg.


We cover the deep frying pan with foil. Break the eggs into a bowl, add melted butter, salt and pepper, beat in a homogeneous mass.
We take a pancake, completely immerse in eggs, take out and put in a pan.

On top of the pancake we put the cooked top and a couple of cashew nuts. We take the second pancake and repeat the process.

After laying the last pancake, fill the pie on all sides with the remaining beaten eggs. Wrap the cake in foil. We cover the pan with a lid and put on a small fire for 15-20 minutes.
In order for the cake to form a golden crust in the original recipe, they suggest opening it, removing it from the foil and frying on both sides in a pan. Honestly, I can hardly imagine all these manipulations. It’s much easier to open the foil and send the cake in preheated 200 degrees oven on 10 minutesor even better, turn on the grill for 5 minutes.

Put the finished pancake pie with meat and egg on a plate and leave to cool slightly.

Step 4: Serve a pancake pie with meat and egg.


Serve the cake warm. Cut it into pieces like a cake, call everyone to the table and be sure to make a whole teapot of fragrant tea.

Recipe Tips:

- With the filling you can improvise. For example, add fried champignons and grated cheese. With an increase in the number of ingredients, the cooking time will increase, but if you use a second pan, it will turn out faster.

- Pie can not be cooked on the stove. Use a deep baking dish, and after you close the pie with foil, immediately send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. It is not necessary to cover with a lid. Bake for 15 minutes, then open the cake, increase the temperature in the oven to 200 degrees and bake until golden brown.
