Lean Chocolate Muffin Ingredients

  1. Bitter chocolate (not less than 60% cocoa) 400 grams
  2. Dates 300 grams
  3. Wheat flour 320 grams
  4. Coconut Oil 150 grams
  5. Maple Syrup 100 grams
  6. Candied or syrup cherries 200 grams
  7. Hot water 300 milliliters

Making Lean Chocolate Cupcake:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Prepare all the necessary ingredients in front of you. Be sure to sift the wheat flour, pour the syrup from the cherry, and break the chocolate into slices.
Pour dates with hot water (300 milliliters), let them get wet, and then grind everything (along with the liquid) using a blender, turning it into a homogeneous mass.

Step 2: drown the chocolate.


Mix the chocolate, broken into slices, with coconut oil and place everything in a water bath. While stirring, heat and wait until all the chocolate has melted and mixed with the butter. Get a viscous homogeneous liquid.

Step 3: prepare the dough.


Pour the flour into a deep plate, put the date mass, pour the syrup, and then the melted chocolate.

Now you have the main task: to mix all these ingredients so that a homogeneous mass is obtained. Break all the flour lumps and other clots so that the dough is smooth and quite thick.

Add cherries and mix well again so that the berries are drowned in the total mass.

Step 4: fill the dough into the mold.


Prepare a baking dish (the diameter of the mold should be 26 centimeters) Cover it with baking parchment to make it easier to remove the finished cupcake, and so that it does not burn in the process.
Put the dough in a mold and smooth with a spatula on top. Of course you cannot achieve perfect smoothness, but try to make the top of the cupcake more careful.

Step 5: bake a lean chocolate muffin.


Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and when it warms up well, send your muffin to bake. The cupcake should be prepared within 45 minutes.

At the exit, you will get dense pastries, greasy due to the large amount of chocolate, but therefore so tasty. After you get the cupcake out of the oven, let it cool, and then remove it from the mold, remove the paper and serve it to the table.
