Cutlets in a slow cooker


Ingredients for cooking cutlets in a slow cooker

  1. Meat (pork and beef) 600-700 grams
  2. Onion 2 pieces (medium size)
  3. The crumb of white bread (or loaf) 1/2 rolls
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. 1 carrot (medium size)
  6. Egg 1 piece
  7. Garlic 1-3 cloves
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Ground black pepper to taste
  10. Spices for meat to taste
  11. Vegetable oil for frying optional

Slow cooker, meat grinder, deep plate, tablespoon, spatula, serving plate, grater, garlic press.

Cooking cutlets in a slow cooker:

Step 1: prepare the minced meat.


Install a meat grinder and grind meat with its help (it is better to take a mixture of pork and beef or only pork). Following the meat, put the onion peeled from the husk in the meat grinder and then the bread crumb soaked in milk. If necessary, pass everything through a meat grinder a couple of times.

Step 2: mix the minced meat with the other ingredients.


Peel the carrots from the husk and grind it with a grater, and then add to the minced meat.
After salt the mixture, pepper, add other spices and a couple of garlic cloves mashed with a press. Add the egg and mix very well.
With raw hands, form small cutlets from the minced meat.

Step 3: prepare the cutlets in a slow cooker.


Put the slow cooker in the "baking" mode, pour oil into its bowl and heat it. Then lay the first batch of cutlets and fry them for 20 minutes from each side. And here he is, the main plus of cooking in a slow cooker: unlike frying in a pan, you do not need to follow the cutlets.
Cook all the patties in several approaches, so that in the multicooker bowl they lay in one layer. We loaded the batch, fried, cook the next one.

After cooking, you can transfer the cutlets into a sieve to allow excess fat to drain, and serve immediately afterwards.

Step 4: serve the cutlets in a slow cooker.


Serve the patties fried in a multicooker in the same way as usual. Hot, hot with heat, along with a side dish of potatoes, pasta, rice or buckwheat. I like to add salty cucumbers or a salad of fresh vegetables to the patties, if it happens in the summer. Garlic or tomato sauce is also good here. And you can put such cutlets on sandwiches, just remember to grease a piece of bread with mustard.
