Potato Chicken with Potatoes

Ingredients for cooking chicken with potatoes in a pot

  1. Chicken fillet (without bones and skin) 1 kilogram
  2. Potato 500 grams
  3. Onions 3 pieces (medium size)
  4. Sour cream 300 grams
  5. 2 cloves of garlic
  6. Cilantro Greens 25 grams
  7. Parsley 20 grams
  8. Ground black pepper 1 teaspoon
  9. Dried savory 1 teaspoon
  10. Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste

Pots, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, disposable paper towels, a knife for peeling vegetables, pot holders, a mortar and pestle, a tablespoon.

Cooking chicken with potatoes in a pot:

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Fillet.

Wash and dry the chicken fillet with disposable paper towels. Cut the poultry into medium or small cubes.

Pour the contents of the pots with water to the top and put them in a preheated 170-180 degrees oven. You need to bake everything at this stage for 30 minutes. A baking tray with pots should be placed in the oven at an average level.

Step 4: Prepare the spices.

While the chicken and potatoes are baked, prepare seasonings. To do this, add washed cilantro greens, a couple of garlic cloves peeled from husks and about a pinch of salt in a mortar. Mash everything with a pestle, turning it into a homogeneous gruel.

Step 5: Bring the chicken and potatoes in the pot to full readiness.

Use the oven mitts to remove the chicken and potato pots from the oven. Put in each sour cream, salt and black pepper. Shuffle everything and return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes.

After the specified time, turn off the oven and remove the pots of chicken and potatoes from it. Season them with garlic, crushed with cilantro and salt, and add chopped parsley and dried savory, mix with a tablespoon and leave at room temperature for another 5-7 minutesso that everything is a little infused, and the smells are mixed.

Step 6: Serve the chicken and potatoes in a pot.
