Cooking dumplings in pots with mushrooms and cheese:

Step 1: Boil the dumplings.

Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt and a couple of bay leaves to it. Throw frozen dumplings into boiling water and boil them for 5 minutes. It is better to stir the dumplings sometimes so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan.

After cooking, throw the dumplings into a colander and let the excess water drain. Remove bay leaves.

Step 2: Fry the dumplings.

Melt a small amount of butter in a pan. When it warms up well, pour boiled dumplings into the pan and fry them over medium-high heat until golden brown on all sides. Just mix the dumplings carefully so that they do not break up.

Step 3: Fry the vegetables.

Peel the carrots and rinse with warm running water, and then chop with a medium grater.
Peel the onion and crumble very finely.
Heat vegetable oil in a clean frying pan and fry vegetables in it until soft. Fry carrots with onions on medium heat, stirring all the time.

Step 4: Fry vegetables with mushrooms.

Add the mushrooms, cut into thin slices of mushrooms, to the vegetables and sauté them until tender. To taste, add salt at the very end.
Important: fresh or dried mushrooms are suitable for cooking, but dried ones must be soaked in advance and washed thoroughly.

Step 5: Put the dumplings with mushrooms and cheese in pots.

Put in pots half of the mushrooms fried with vegetables. Place the dumplings in the next layer. And on top of them are the remaining mushrooms with vegetables.

Separately dilute sour cream in clean boiled water, add a little salt to it (just do not overdo it). If you want, you can also add a little pepper or seasoning for meat to the diluted sour cream. Pour the resulting mixture into pots. The liquid should flood the contents of the pots by about half, you do not need to pour it to the brim.
And finally, sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Step 6: Bake the dumplings in pots with mushrooms and cheese.

Without covering the pots with lids, put them on a heat-resistant baking sheet and send them to the preheated 200 degrees oven on 25-30 minutes. During this time, the cheese should be covered with a golden crust, if it starts to burn ahead of time, then the pan with pots should be moved to the lower part of the oven.

Step 7: Serve the dumplings in pots with mushrooms and cheese.

Once the dumplings in pots with mushrooms and cheese are ready, remove them from the oven and serve. Do not forget to warn everyone that the pots are hot, so you need to eat carefully. And that’s all! Nothing more is needed, not even any sauce. It turns out a completely independent hot dish, which looks very attractive, but it tastes just an overeating.
