Step 1: Prepare the pears.

When the sugar has completely dissolved in boiling water, remove the pan with syrup from the heat and pour into it slices of pears and slices of lemon. Leave the fruit soaked in syrup on 1 hour.

Step 4: Cooking pear jam with lemon.


After 1 hour the pan with pears and lemon in the syrup should be put on fire, brought to a boil and cook its contents until the slices of the fruits become transparent, like glass. Pour the finished pear jam into sterilized glass jars. Close the container tightly with lids and leave it right here in the kitchen to cool. But after the jars with blanks inside are at room temperature, the jam can be removed in a dark cool place.
