Ingredients for making carrot salad with kefir

For salad

Cooking carrot salad with kefir:

Step 1: Prepare Raisins


Rinse and sort out the raisins. Pour it into a cup and pour boiling water over it. Leave dried fruit soaked on 7-10 minutes. If the raisins you have chosen are too dry, then it’s better to change the water afterwards, again fill it with boiling water, and wait another 5 minutes. At the end, drain the water from the soaked dried fruits and squeeze them a little.

Step 2: prepare the carrots.


Rinse fresh carrots, peel them off, and then rinse with water again to get rid of the remnants of adhering earth. Grind the peeled vegetables using a medium grater, or a special Korean carrot grater.

Step 3: preparing a gas station.


Pour honey into the bowl, then kefir and mix with a fork until a homogeneous consistency.

Step 4: mix the salad.


Pour the carrots into a deep plate, add the soaked and slightly swollen raisins to it. Pour kefir and honey dressing and mix well. That's it, the vitamin spring salad with kefir is ready.

Step 5: serve carrot salad with kefir.


Serve carrot salad with kefir as a dessert or for an afternoon snack. If carrots are juicy and sweet, then the dish turns out to be incredibly appetizing, so it's hard to tear yourself away from it. It is also good to eat this salad for a bite with sweet croutons or pancakes for breakfast.

Recipe Tips:

- Also, this salad can be seasoned with a mixture of sugar, kefir and freshly squeezed lemon juice, but it turns out not so sweet, so this option is not suitable for sweet tooth.

- Of course, according to your taste and desire, you can make this dish even more interesting by adding pieces of sweet apple or finely chopped walnuts to it.

- If you do not like kefir, then replace it with sour cream, unsweetened yogurt or another sour-milk product.
