Step 1: prepare the ingredient.
There are many recipes for this dish, mine is just one of the options, and if desired, the composition of the products can be changed by removing those that do not like. Well, if you decide to follow the instructions, I will be happy to help and I hope you get a really tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner. First, put all the necessary ingredients on the countertop and start with meat. We rinse it under trickles of cold running water, dip it with paper kitchen towels, move it to a cutting board and use a sharp kitchen knife to get rid of veins, film, excess fat, and also small bones that often remain on the log house. After that, we cut beef from 2.5 to 3 centimeters in size and put them in a clean bowl.
Then, using a clean knife, peel the potatoes, garlic, two types of onions, carrots, and remove the stalk from the sweet salad pepper and gut it from the seeds. Thoroughly wash everything together with tomatoes, dry, take turns sending to a new board and continue preparation. We chop the potatoes into slices of an approximate size of 2-2.5 centimeters. Immediately throw them into a bowl with cold water and leave them until use so that they do not darken, and chop both types of onions into cubes up to 1 centimeter.
We cut sweet pepper and tomato in the same way as the previous vegetable. We chop the carrots with rings, half rings, quarters up to 1 centimeter thick, and we chop the garlic into small pieces of arbitrary shape with a size of 4 to 5 millimeters. Then, using a tablespoon, mix in a measuring glass preferably sweet tomato juice, as well as purified water and move on.
Step 2: cook beef with potatoes in a slow cooker.
We insert the plug of the multicooker into a socket, install a special bowl in its recess and pour a little vegetable, better than refined oil, into it. Turn on Frying mode for 40 minutes and send onions to the bottom of Teflon dishes. Without covering, we pass it until soft for 5 minutes, periodically loosening with a wooden or silicone kitchen spatula. Then add carrots to the vegetable and fry them even 5 minutes. After that, put the pieces of meat in the bowl and cook everything together 15 minutes, for which beef will change color from bright burgundy red to gray and begin to be covered with a light golden crust. Then we send slices of fresh sweet pepper and tomato to the slow cooker. Fry vegetables with meat 5 minutes.
Then we throw potatoes to them and stand in the same mode for 5-7 minutesDo not forget to periodically mix the products. Then turn off the slow cooker and fill everything with a mixture of water, as well as tomato juice. Season the semi-finished dish to taste with salt, a bay leaf, close the equipment with a tight-fitting lid, turn on the new mode "Stew" for 1 hour and wait.
As soon as the kitchen appliance is switched off, notifying of the end of the program, open it, add chopped garlic, ground black pepper, caraway, paprika and dried dill to the aromatic mass. Gently mix everything until smooth, cover again and cook in the same mode, i.e. "Stew", but already 30 minutes.
When the slow cooker stops working and turns off again, notifying about it with the corresponding signal, let the beef and potatoes brew a little, that's enough 5-10 minutes, and you can taste it!
Step 3: serve beef with potatoes in a slow cooker.
Beef and potatoes in a slow cooker are served hot as a second base dish for a hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner. After cooking, this dish is laid out in portions on plates, optionally decorated with fresh herbs of dill, parsley, cilantro, basil or green onions and put on the table with a fresh loaf of bread. - in this recipe a fairly wide range of vegetables that perfectly complement the aroma, as well as the taste of the dish, but if desired, some of them can not be used, for example, tomatoes or bell pepper, as well as garlic, the smell of which not everyone likes;
- very often a mixture of tomato juice and water is replaced with an ordinary broth or vegetable broth. Also in it you can put a little sour cream, cream or mayonnaise;
- a set of spices depends only on your preferences, the main thing is that they are suitable for meat dishes.
