Winter Rice Salad

Step 2: Prepare the tomatoes.


Rinse the tomatoes with water and a soft sponge, remove the stalk and chop into large pieces. Pour these pieces into the pan, add oil.
Grind the tomatoes with butter using a mixer. It should be a homogeneous gruel. Put the pan with tomato gruel on the fire, bring to a boil, reduce and cook 15-20 minutes.

Step 3: Prepare the vegetables.


Rinse and cut the sweet pepper in half, remove the core with seeds. Cut in any way convenient for you. You can even chop most of it finely, and one or two peppers is large, the pepper looks very beautiful in the finished dish.
Peel the onion and garlic and crumble very finely, but it is better not to use a grater and garlic gum.
Peel the carrots from the skin with a knife for peeling vegetables. Trim the edges above and below, chop into small pieces.

Step 4: Prepare a salad with rice for the winter.


Pour the carrots into the pan with boiled ground tomatoes. Mix and cook the same way. 15 minutes. After tossing the remaining vegetables into the pan. Salt, add sugar, bring to a boil again. Now turn down the heat so that the vegetable mixture boils, but not much, cover and cook 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, discard boiled rice in a colander and rinse with a stream of cold water. When the excess water drains from the rice, and the vegetables boil for the required time, add the cereal to the pan. Stir, pour vinegar. Cook all together yet 5-7 minutes.
Pour the finished salad into steam clean jars. Close, do not forget to sign the date of manufacture. All is ready! A delicious rice salad for the winter is standing and waiting in the wings.

Step 5: Serve the rice salad for the winter.


Serve rice salad for the winter as a side dish, slightly heating it to meat, fish or chicken, it also goes well with sausages and meatballs. And you can eat it as an independent dish, seasoning with fresh herbs or sour cream.
