Sausages in the test


Ingredients for making sausages in dough.

Cooking sausages in the dough:

Step 1: Knead the dough.


Place wheat flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast in the mixer bowl. In the center, make a small indentation and add an egg, and then milk. Mix the dough with a mixer. You should get a homogeneous mass without lumps. Then add softened butter (for this, just put it out of the refrigerator in advance and let it melt slightly at room temperature). Keep mixing, sometimes it takes 20-25 minutes.
The kneaded dough should be smooth, viscous and almost stick to your hands.
Lubricate a deep bowl with a little vegetable oil, roll the dough into a bowl and place it to infuse. Cover with a towel and wait 40 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the sausages.


To prepare this dish, take any sausages that you usually prefer. Peel them off the film until set aside.

Step 3: Form the dough.


Divide the dough into six equal parts, rolling between the palms give them a spherical shape. Put the balls on a clean and dry surface, cover each with cling film and let stand 10-15 minutes.
After that, take one ball of dough and roll it on the surface so that it looks like a sausage. Now start wrapping this sausage around the sausage, the dough should bend around it in a spiral. Flatten the workpiece slightly at both ends. Continue to form sausages in the dough.

Step 4: Bake the sausages in the dough.


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Heat-resistant baking sheet on which you will bake sausages in the dough, also grease with butter, and then put in it raw dough and sausage blanks.
While the oven is heating up in a hotel bowl, break the remaining egg and beat it. With the resulting mixture, using a special silicone brush, grease the sausages in the dough and put them in the oven on 30-40 minutes.
Since we greased the blanks with an egg, a crispy and appetizing crust forms on the prepared sausages in the dough, when this happens take out the finished dish and serve.

Step 5: Serve the sausages in the dough.


Sausages in the dough should be served hot, while the crust is still crispy. Like any other pastries, they are an independent dish, but you can serve as an addition to them sauce. All homework will be delighted, especially children.
