Lavash rolls with potatoes and sausage

Ingredients for making pita rolls with potatoes and sausage

  1. Peeled potatoes 1 kg.
  2. Onion 120 g.
  3. Sausage "Boiled" 200 g
  4. Parsley a few twigs.
  5. Thin pita bread "Armenian" 2 pcs.
  6. Vegetable oil 180 ml.
  7. Milk 240 ml.
  8. Egg 2 pcs.
  9. Butter 30 g
  10. Bay leaf 2 pcs.
  11. Salt to taste.

Cooking pita rolls with potatoes and sausage:

Peel potatoes, cut, pour water, add salt to taste and bay leaf. Boil potatoes until cooked.

While the potatoes are being cooked, we prepare the remaining products in the filling. Grate the sausage on a coarse grater.

Grind greens.

Dice the onion.

Fry the onions in butter.

Milk 200 ml. bring to a boil, remove from heat.

Drain all the water from the potatoes, remove the bay leaf, pour hot milk. Make mashed potatoes without lumps.

Add the fried onions, herbs and sausage, mix well.

Visually divide the filling in half, lubricate one pita bread with one half of the filling.

Roll tight roll, cut with a sharp knife into rolls, 1.5 cm thick.

Beat eggs well with 40 ml of milk, quickly dip the roll in the egg mixture.

Fry in hot vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown, over medium heat.

Put the rolls on a napkin to absorb excess fat.

We are doing all the same work with another pita bread and filling. Do not make two rolls at once, it can soak from the filling and you cannot cut it.

Finished rolls, serve warm. Enjoy your meal!
