Cooking cookies in a pan:
Step 1: .In a deep plate, mix the prepared mixture for baking muffins and wheat flour in the indicated proportions.
Remove 50 grams of butter from the refrigerator, cut it into small cubes and add to the flour mixture. Mash flour and butter with a fork.
You should have a mass that resembles large crumbs, so mix the butter and flour mixture carefully. Can't get a fork? It does not matter, use your hands to mix, but before that they need to be washed with soap and dried with a towel.
Heat the milk, but do not bring to a boil, and pour it in a thin stream into the previously prepared mixture of flour and butter. Do not mix the mass during this process.
After adding milk, mash the resulting dough with your hands and proceed to the formation of cookies.
Step 2:.Prepare the work surface: rinse the countertop and wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Sprinkle flour to avoid sticking dough.
Continue to knead and knead the dough on the countertop until it becomes homogeneous, then roll it out with a rolling pin. The prepared mass for cookies should look like a thick pancake. No need to make the dough very thin, such as when making pizza or pie. Our cookies will eventually be airy, which means we need to initially make the base a little thicker. In the cooking process, thanks to the baking powder, which is part of the mixture for baking cupcakes, the products will rise and become lush.
We cut out our future cookies from the resulting pancake. Use for this purpose a special sharp mold or glass cup. Cut it gently, gradually pressing on the form from above and moving back and forth around the circumference.
Knead the dough that remains after the formation of cookies, knead again in your hands, roll again and cut the product further. Repeat the procedure until you have consumed almost all the dough. Try to do without residues.
As a result, you should get plump medallions, as in the photo. Be careful not to allow dough breaks during breaks.
Step 3:.Place a frying pan on the stove and heat. Melt a small piece of butter in it, lay the medallions from the dough on top, decorating each of them with a thin piece of butter. When the butter on top of the dough has melted, turn the cookies over and fry over low heat until golden brown on each side. It’s going to be spent on frying 8-10 minutes. Cool the finished cookies and serve.
Serve cookies in a pan for tea or coffee as a dessert.
Enjoy your meal!
- Add some cocoa powder or raisins to the flour for taste.
- If you could not find butter at hand, replace it with margarine.
- Instead of ready-made flour mixture for baking, use 1 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 egg yolk.
- Do not make cookie dough blanks very thick, not more than 1 cm, otherwise it will not bake from the inside.
