Cooking fried chicken in a slow cooker:

Step 1: prepare the chicken drumsticks.


Thoroughly rinse the chicken drumsticks under running warm water, dab it with kitchen paper towels and put it on a cutting board. If necessary, with clean hands we remove the rest of the feathers and the yellow film, which is usually located near the lower cartilage. Then we move the components into the middle bowl and leave them aside for a while.

Step 2: prepare the egg mixture.


Using a knife, break the eggshell, and pour the yolk with protein into a deep plate. Pour salt, paprika and black pepper to taste here. Using a hand whisk or fork, beat all the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is formed. Attention: if the mixture is very thick, pour two tablespoons of clean cold water into it and mix everything well again.

Step 3: cook the fried chicken in a slow cooker.


Using a pastry brush, grease the bottom and walls of the multicooker pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. Pour breadcrumbs into another clean plate and start cooking our dish. To do this, the first thing in turn is dipped chicken drumsticks in an egg mixture.

Then - roll in breadcrumbs.

Put the meat in a slow cooker and turn it on mode "Frying". Such a dish should be cooked at a temperature 130 ° C. Install 40 minutes, close the container with the lid and press "Start". Attention: from time to time it is necessary to turn the legs on the other side so that they are evenly fried. I usually set the mode for 10 minutes. After the allotted time, I open the lid and use a wooden spatula to turn the chicken over to the other side. Then I set the required number of minutes again and continue to fry the dish. At the end, turn off the crock-pot, and transfer the chicken wings to a special plate and serve to the dining table.

Step 4: Serve the fried chicken in a slow cooker.


Fried chicken is obtained not only very beautiful on the outside, with a golden crust, but also juicy inside. We serve the dish along with boiled rice, fried potatoes, fresh vegetable salads and any other food of your choice.

Recipe Tips:

- for cooking, you can also use chicken wings, thighs, or even chop the whole chicken in advance in portions and fry in a slow cooker;
