Ingredients for cooking pickled cabbage per day

  1. White cabbage 2.5 kg.
  2. Carrot 700 g
  3. Garlic 4 cloves.
  4. Vegetable oil 100 ml.
  5. Vinegar 9% 100 ml.
  6. Water 1 liter.
  7. Peppercorns 12 pcs.
  8. Salt 70 g.
  9. Sugar 100 g.
  10. Clove 5 pcs.
  11. Bay leaf 4 pcs.

It's a great time to fall, because it gives us a lot of vegetables. We begin to swarm in our gardens, harvesting. So the time has come for our girlfriend of cabbage, just that we will prepare it. There is nothing complicated and new in this recipe, I just want to remind you that there is such a wonderful dish as pickled cabbage. After all, you can’t do without it right up to spring.

Cooking pickled cabbage per day:

Chop cabbage.

Grate the carrots.

Chop the garlic into strips.

Mix vegetables, do not crush.

Boil water, pour vinegar, oil, add salt, sugar, bay leaf, peppercorns, cloves. Allow to cool slightly.

Tamp the cabbage into the pan (everything went into my 5-liter pan).

Pour marinade, put a plate on top and oppress. Let it brew for 10 hours at room temperature.

If you wish, transfer the cabbage along with the marinade into a 3-liter jar, as it all went there.

Insist cabbage in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
