Curd Yogurt Cake


Ingredients for the preparation of cottage cheese and yogurt cake

For the test:

  2. Yogurt with a fat content of 0.5-1% 500 milliliters
  3. Condensed milk 200 grams
  4. Instant gelatin 12 grams
  5. Pure warm water 50-70 milliliters

Cooking cottage cheese and yogurt cake:

Step 1: prepare the butter.


We spread the butter on a cutting board and use a knife to cut into medium slices. Then we move the crushed component into a Turk or a small pan with a thick bottom and put on a small fire. Constantly stirring with a tablespoon, bring the oil to a liquid state. Immediately after that, turn off the burner, and set the capacity aside. Attention: to prepare the dough, the component must cool to room temperature.

Step 2: prepare the flour mixture.


Sift flour, potato starch and baking powder into a medium bowl with a sieve. This must be done in order to make the dough airy and tender.

Step 3: prepare the eggs.


Using a knife, break the eggshell, and pour the yolks with squirrels into two deep bowls.

Pour sugar into the first container and, using a mixer, beat the ingredients at high speed until a dense foam forms.

Then add a pinch of salt to the bowl with proteins. We also beat everything at high speed with a mixer until peaks form. Immediately after this, we begin to prepare the dough.

Step 4: prepare the dough.


Pour whipped yolks and cold clean water into a free medium bowl. Using a tablespoon, mix everything carefully until smooth. Immediately after this, pour the flour mixture into the container. Using a mixer, beat the ingredients until smooth and then add the melted cooled butter. Again, mix everything with improvised inventory and at the end carefully introduce whipped whites. Bring the dough to a homogeneous state, using a tablespoon.

Step 5: bake the cake for the cake.


Preheat oven to temperature 180 ° C. In the meantime, cover a special shape with baking paper. To do this, using kitchen scissors, cut out a circle of parchment, which in diameter will be suitable for the container. Now pour the dough here and level its surface with a tablespoon. When the oven warms up, put on a medium level form and bake the cake until a golden crust is formed. Immediately after that, turn off the oven, and take out the container from there using kitchen oven mitts.

Gently (so as not to burn yourself) we shift the cake onto the grate and leave to cool to room temperature. Then cut it lengthwise into two halves and proceed to the preparation of the cream.

Step 6: prepare the gelatin.


Pour gelatin into a small metal bowl and pour warm, clean water. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until smooth and leave it aside for a while.
In a medium saucepan, pour a small amount of ordinary liquid from the tap and put on a large fire. When the water begins to boil, we fasten the burner and dissolve the gelatin in the steam bath. To do this, place a bowl on top of the pan, holding it with kitchen tacks. From time to time, stirring the mass with a tablespoon, bring it to a liquid state. Immediately after that, turn off the burner, and set the gelatin container aside to cool slightly.

Step 7: prepare the cottage cheese and yogurt cream.


Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl of the blender and pour the condensed milk. Beat the ingredients at high speed until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Then add yogurt and sugar here. Continue to mix everything until the last component is dissolved. At the end, pour liquid gelatin into the cream and whisk everything again at medium speed.

Step 8: prepare canned peaches.


Using a can opener, open a jar of peaches. We spread the contents of the container on a chopping board with a tablespoon and, using a knife, cut the fruit into slices. Then gently move the slices of peaches on a clean plate and temporarily set aside. Important: it’s better to do all this before we lubricate the top cake with cream.

Step 9: prepare the cottage cheese and yogurt cake.


We spread the lower cake onto a flat serving dish. Then, using a tablespoon, coat its surface 1/2 part cream. We cover everything with a second cake and put in the refrigerator for the whole night. The cake should be infused and soaked in cream. Important: pour the remaining cream into a plastic container, close it tightly with a lid and put together with baking so that it does not deteriorate over a long time. Attention: so that the cake does not absorb other smells of food, you can cover it with a large bowl.

The next day, we take out the pastries from the refrigerator and grease its surface and sides with the remaining cream. At the end, we decorate the dessert with slices of canned peaches and we can call everyone to the dining table.

Step 10: serve the cottage cheese and yogurt cake.


Before serving to the dessert table, we cut the cottage cheese and yogurt cake into portioned slices and treat the household to such amazingly delicious pastries along with tea or coffee.

Recipe Tips:

- for the preparation of cakes, it is best to use a mold with a diameter of 20-23 centimeters. Then the dough will rise enough and it will be possible to cut it into two halves after baking;

- Instead of canned peaches, you can take fresh ones. To do this, remove the skin with a knife, then cut the fruit into two halves on a cutting board and carefully take out a bone from one part (if the peaches are ripe, then this action will pass without difficulty). Now cut each half of the component into slices and transfer to a clean plate;

- for cooking cream it is best to take home-made yogurt.
